Association of Drainage Authorities ORGANISATION
The Association of Drainage Authorities (ADA) is the association for water level management organisations in the United Kingdom, with over 230 members.
ADA is recognised as the national representative of Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs). IDBs are local public bodies established in areas of special drainage need in England and Wales to undertake works to manage flood risk and water levels on behalf of their community.
Every IDB has a Biodiversity Action Plan and as they record their actions on BARS they are requested to associate these activities with ADA.
